Are you looking for an all season tire that can deliver maximum traction and intelligent handling for your high performance SUV or light pickup?

The Ventus ST RH06 is Hankook’s Street/Sport Truck all season tire that offers world-class performance all year-round in dry, wet and wintry conditions.

So what is it about the Ventus ST RH06 that makes it a worthy candidate for your choice of all season tire? How does it separate itself from the competition to take its place as the clear leader in its class?

Well to start with, the tires performance on dry surfaces is outstanding. Traction, handling and cornering are all as good as you’d expect from a tire of this quality. Steering feedback is particularly exceptional. They communicate a clear feel for the road at all speeds, which can be credited to the tire’s jointless bead wire and high bead filler which promotes greater stability and overall steering response.

Hankook VENTUS ST RH06 Tread

The Ventus ST RH06 features an all season tread compound that Hankook have molded into a cool V-shape directional tread design. To enhance overall ride quality, and for added strength and durability, the Ventus ST RH06 contains two high-tensile steel belts reinforced with two plies of spirally wrapped nylon. Now the ride is still slightly harsh, and could definitely be softened a bit, but don’t let that deter you from grabbing a set of these tires. Traction and handling is top of the class in both dry and wet driving conditions. And the tire’s steering responsiveness delivers a whole new level of control.

The nice folks over at Hankook have made sure you won’t hear a peep of road noise when driving the Ventus ST RH06. The tire employs Dual Depth Pitch Theory, which is designed to lower tread noise through what’s called multiple sub pitch technology. Now we don’t need to get into the technical details, all you need to know is that the Ventus ST RH06 produces minimal road noise so you can enjoy a smooth, quiet ride.

Do you have custom rims on your ride? Well you’ll be delighted to know that Hankook have added a rim protector to the Ventus ST RH06 to keep your wheels safe from accidental curb damage and scratches.

Easily ranks as one of the best tires in its class

With the Hankook Ventus ST RH06 on your vehicle you can drive at high speeds in the wet without worry. They deliver unbelievable levels of wet grip . Standing water on the highway? No problem. Emergency braking in the rain? No problem. Need to take a sharp turn in a downpour? No problem. The Hankook Ventus ST RH06 has incredible hydroplaning resistance and doesn’t give up a drop of traction on wet road surfaces.

Dry and wet these tires are fantastic. But what about in the snow and on ice?

Well in anything but deep snow, the Ventus ST RH06 perform just fine. They have a tendency to slide a bit at slow speed turns and when braking quickly, but in a way that’s predictable and can easily be corrected. And if there is ice it doesn’t matter what tire you have on, unless it’s a dedicated snow tire you’re going to lose traction and handling predictability.

The Hankook Ventus ST RH06 is available in sizes ranging from 17 to 26 inches and a V or W speed rating. As for tread life, you can expect to hit around 60,000 miles per set and Hankook back their tire with a 50,000 mile tread wear warranty.
